Floyd Mayweather has stated he is absolutely serious about fighting UFC star Khabib Nurmagomedov.
The retired, 50-0 boxing legend is eyeing a comeback against Conor McGregor’s MMA conqueror in the near future, before a possible rematch with Manny Pacquiao.
“I’m my own boss, so I can’t say what’s going on on Khabib’s end. But, on my end, we can make it happen.”
Mayweather went on to confirm that the fight would have to take place in the boxing ring, rather than the MMA octagon Khabib is accustomed to.
“Who’s the ‘A-side’? He called me out. So, he’s gotta come to my world.
“I seen on the interview he said that when he hit Conor McGregor, he knocked Conor McGregor down. He said I didn’t knock Conor McGregor down.
“Khabib, you got my leftovers. Whoopy-do.”
The infamously brash American, nicknamed ‘money,’ then went on to discuss how much he expects to make from the proposed fight.
Despite Nurmagomedov’s name seemingly not being as well known as McGregor’s, Mayweather believes he will still make more than he did for his first crossover last year.
“When I face Khabib, of course I’m getting a nine-figure ($100million+) payday,” he continued.
“Yes, it’s more than the McGregor fight, probably $100million more guaranteed. I’mma say between $110million and $200million guaranteed.https://shaddyvibez.com/floyd-mayweather-vs-khabib-nurmagomedov-fight-talk-is-serious-as-boxer-predicts-bigger-purse-than-mcgregor-bout/
