West Ham are considering another move to sign Chelsea striker Olivier Giroud in January, according to reports.
The Hammers have been linked with an interest in the Frenchman before, having been keen on signing him towards the end of his career at Arsenal.
Giroud ultimately decided to move to Stamford Bridge, with the Blues paying £18million for his services in January.
But the Frenchman only signed a short-term contract with Chelsea, which expires at the end of this season.
And, according to the Daily Mirror, West Ham are weighing up making another move to bring Giroud to the London Stadium.
Giround was bought by Chelsea as a back-up striker, and has scored five goals in 26 appearances since his January arrival.
But the World Cup winner has proven he has much more to his game than just goals, impressing with his hold up and link up play for club and country.
And it is suggested West Ham boss Manuel Pellegrini sees him as a perfect fit for his front-line, which has been lacking a target man with Andy Carroll out injured and nearing the end of his contract.https://kenzymirror.com/west-ham-transfer-news-hammers-considering-january-move-for-chelsea-striker-olivier-giroud/
