Ex-Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has emerged as a contender to replace Gennaro Gattuso at AC Milan, according to reports.
The 40-year-old is under pressure at Milan at the moment where a slow start to the season has left them sitting 12th in Serie A, having won just three of their first eight games.
The Italian club are now keeping their options open in case they decide to show Gattuso the door.
And Telelombardia claim Wenger is one of the names on Milan’s managerial shortlist.
The Frenchman has not worked since the end of last season, when he left Arsenal.
However, he has recently revealed he expects to be back in work from January next year.
Milan could well be his next club, which would mean a reunion with former Arsenal chief executive Ivan Gazidis – who now works for Milan in the same role. https://shaddyvibez.com/former-arsenal-boss-arsene-wenger-reportedly-in-contention-to-become-milan-manager-reunite-with-ivan-gazidis/
