Tech: Here’s every single new emoji that just became available for iPhones

A peacock, lacrosse stick, teddy bear, and cupcake are all on the list of new emojis arriving on iPhones.

Another fall means another set of new emojis arriving on iPhones.

Apple released iOS 12.1 on Tuesday, which includes more than 70 new emoji, including redheads, a mango, and a lacrosse stick. There are 158 individual emoji when accounting for skin tone and gender variations, according to Jeremy Burge of Emojipedia.

Unicode — the consortium responsible for choosing the new emojis across all platforms — approved the new emoji in February, and they’ve been trickling out to platforms and devices ever since. But now, they’ll finally arrive for iPhone 5S and later.
